Science

Science has always been my favorite subject and I can’t wait to teach students how fun it can be! I also like to  find some great ideas on Pinterest about science activities, hopefully it will give you all some inspiration when you become teachers.

This is a good activity for magnets, you could also have students add the numbers together and integrate math.

This is a yummy way to teach students about the phases of the moon!

A creative way to show the differet stages of a butterfly using uncooked noodles.

Different layers of the Earth made of clay.

A represention showing students how far apart the planets are.

  4. Really neat ideas! Nate actually did the one showing how far apart the planets are for our SCS class last year and it was a lot of fun. I have also presented the one on magnets, but with a twist. Instead of just using plain old magnets, I connected a large magnet to a stick and string and used it as a fishing pole. I cut out a bunch of paper fish and taped paper clips to them. It obviously went along with a whole series of lessons on magnets, but my classmates thought it was a great idea. Just tell the kids we're going fishing today in science! Haha. Thanks a lot for sharing these!
